Our story
We got tired of beige.
covrd started because the options were bad. Three shades, flimsy adhesive, and a "closest beige" option that matched nobody. We thought we could do better. We were right.
The problem is simple.
Intimate apparel has spent decades solving problems for lighter skin tones. "Nude" meant one thing. Shade ranges meant two or three options if you were lucky.
Nipple covers were no different. The entire category — 1,000+ SKUs on Amazon — clustered around three or four shades. Deeper skin tones got a token "deep" option that still stood out under anything transparent.
The fix took two years.
We worked with cosmetic chemists and a Vietnamese manufacturing partner to develop a silicone formula that holds true color — not just surface tint — across a full undertone range. Warm, cool, neutral.
We tested 47 prototype batches. We lost count of how many shade combinations didn't work. The 10 we launched with work. We're adding 5 more this fall.
What we stand for.
Inclusive by design
10 shades isn't a marketing statement. It's a manufacturing commitment. Every new product we launch starts with the full shade range, not a pale version with "shades coming soon."
Honest about what works
We'll tell you which of our products hold best for high-movement days. We'll tell you our disposables aren't as good as our reusables. We'd rather you buy the right thing once than the wrong thing twice.
Made to last
Medical-grade silicone that survives 30 wears isn't just better for your wallet. It's less plastic in landfills. Body confidence shouldn't cost the planet.
Built by people who use it.
covrd is a small team. We don't have a PR budget. We don't do celebrity partnerships. What we have: a product that works, a shade range that covers everyone, and customers who tell their friends about it without being asked.
